Members of the activist punk band Pussy Riot came to the US Capitol today to press lawmakers to do more to protect human rights in Russia.
Nadya Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, who goes by Masha, came with a list of more than a dozen Russian officials they want American lawmakers to sanction, by freezing their overseas assets and blocking their travel to the United States.
Our Capitol Hill correspondent Alice Ollstein reports that as some Congress members push forward on these sanctions, others are questioning their effectiveness.
