INTRODUCTION: An ignition fault in vehicles made by the US car giant General Motors led to the deaths of at least one hundred people.
That's according to Laura Christian, the mother of a teenager who was killed in her Chevrolet vehicle - and who is now a spokesperson and investigator for the families.
GM has admitted having some knowledge of the problem for over a decade, but only issued a recall this February and has acknowledged that it led to 13 road deaths.
