One Year On: Edward Snowden leaks

On June the 5th last year Britain's Guardian newspaper published the first leaks from the US intelligence worker Edward Snowden…

Exactly one year on, Mr Snowden remains in Moscow on temporary asylum, with calls from the US government for him to "man-up" and come back to America to face espionage charges.

The leaks have presented challenges for governments and security agencies around the world.

Our correspondent Dan Whitehead has been speaking with the Guardian's Intelligence Correspondent Ewen MacAskill - who flew to Hong Kong to meet Edward Snowden in secret at a hotel, after he fled from America with the top-secret documents...
