Former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks has been cleared of all charges at the UK’s phone-hacking trial.
Former News of the World editor Andy Coulson, however, has been found guilty of conspiring to hack phones.
Both were on trial in a phone-hacking trial that sprang from a scandal which led to the closure of Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World.
But Ms Brooks has been cleared of conspiracy to hack voicemails, two counts of conspiracy to pay public officials and two counts of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Andy Coulson is also a former director of communications for Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron.
Our London correspondent Olly Barratt has been speaking to Journalist Peter Jukes, who has been in court for every single day of the trial, and has written a book, The Inside Story of the Phone Hacking Trial.
Outside the Old Bailey, Olly began by asking him about the scale of the legal proceedings.
