Currently, there are an estimated 3.3 million Muslims living in the United States.
In 2014, the Muslim population made up just under 1 percent of America's population.
But this year that number is closer to 2 percent... and growing.
A recent study by the Pew research center shows that most of them tend to lean Democratic.
And groups such as the U.S. council of Muslim Organizations are trying to get 1 million of them to vote
so they can make sure Donald Trump is stopped from implementing policies such as reducing the flow of refugees from the War-torn middle east.

Donald Trump has also attacked Muslim Americans who have lived here for decades.
One of the women who've joined the Muslim American Women PAC is Ghazala Khan, who's son died in 2004 while serving in Iraq.
She and her husband Khzir clashed with Donald Trump, following a speech at the Democratic National Convention.
Khzir has now joined the Clinton campaign... participating in campaign ads
