Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have both scored key victories in the US Presidential campaign, after five more states held their primary votes on Tuesday night to decide their preferred candidates for November's general election.
Trump, for the Republicans, won in Florida, North Carolina and Illinois, though was denied victory in Ohio by governor John Kasich.

Donald Trump won such a decisive victory in Florida that the Senator for that state, another Republican candidate, Marco Rubio, was forced to pull out of the race.
As he announced he was suspending his campaign, he said America was in the middle of a political storm, and voters were angry and frustrated.

John Kasich secured his first win in the Republican contest in the state of Ohio, where he is governor - denying Donald Trump an important 66 delegates voting for him at the national convention in July, and meaning the race could drag on for longer.
But Mr. Trump said his campaign is drawing new people into the Republican party:

Meanwhile, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton extended her lead over Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and said her campaign's getting closer to securing the nomination
