NY terror funding under threat

In the wake of the Brussels attacks, security forces in New York are
on a heightened state of alert, ramping up patrols on top of an
already robust police presence.

That's in large part thanks to huge amounts of cash flowing into New
York's anti-terror units since the attack on 9/11.

But now the federal government is threatening to pull some of the
funding, prompting fears that the cuts could make the country's
premier terror target more vulnerable.
