PKGE: Scientists discover 'gravitational waves' opening window to 'dark universe'

Scientists say they have finally detected gravitational waves — ripples in the fabric of space-time caused by a black-hole collision 1 point 3 billion light year ago.

Astronomers and physicists hailed the development as one that could fundamentally change our understanding of the universe and its origins
