The 2008 financial crisis took its toll on the U.S. diamond trade but
some industry experts think it could be making a comeback.
India's Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council expect the country to
export as much as 15% more polished diamonds to the U.S. in the year
as of April.
And they say President Donald Trump's administration can help the
global diamond industry regain some sparkle.
