Hillary Clinton is demanding that the FBI release more details about a new batch of e-mails they're reviewing with regard to her handling of classified information while she was Secretary of State.
In her first public comments on the bombshell announcement made in Washington, Mrs. Clinton said it is "incumbent" on the FBI to provide her campaign - and American voters - with more details of the documents they've recovered from cellphones that were used by one of her top aides and a disgraced former Congressman.

It was late in the day here when Hillary Clinton finally made her first public comments on the FBI's bombshell announcement.
A hastily convened news conference in Iowa where she was campaigning….a statement followed by just three questions before her aides brought the event to a close.
Hillary Clinton once again on the defensive over her decision to use a private e-mail server when she was Secretary of State and the way in which she and her top aides handled classified information.

Mrs. Clinton said she believed most voters have already made up their minds about the e-mail flap…and she exuded a lack of concern about the possibility that FBI investigators may change their minds about whether to press charges against her.
But she conceded, she doesn't know what documents they recovered from electronic devices that were seized as part of a separate FBI investigation into disgraced former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner.
He's accused of sexting with at least one underage girl….and his estranged wife is one of Hillary Clinton's top aides, Huma Abedin.

But Mrs. Clinton knows that if the FBI is reviewing thousands of documents….they will not be made public before the investigation is complete….and certainly not before election day in just 10 days time.
That means she is essentially asking voters to support her while she's under FBI investigation…and with absolutely no guarantee that if she's elected, she won't then face criminal prosecution.
Over in the Donald Trump campaign, there was euphoria over a totally unexpected development that came just as the embers were dying in Donald Trump's fiery quest for the White House.

The FBI announcement makes life very difficult for some of Mrs. Clinton's prominent supporters, among them President Obama.
He cannot be seen to be interfering in an ongoing FBI investigation.
FBI Director James Comey has spent months being excoriated by the Republicans for refusing to prosecute Mrs. Clinton….now he's on the receiving of invective from the Democrats for continuing the investigation into her.
It is the October Surprise to end all October Surprises….yet another stunning twist in an election whose outcome is suddenly unpredictable.
