The stage is set in the United States for another TV debate….this time between the two men seeking the Vice-Presidency.
They will go head-to-head for 90 minutes at Longworth University in Virginia on Tuesday night.
But who are they?
And why on earth would they want the job?

I don't know what it's like when you go to the barber to get your haircut….but I'm going to hazard a guess that if my barber knows who I am….then yours must surely know you.
Which puts us both ahead of one of the men who hopes to be, in January, a heartbeat away from the US Presidency.
For this was the scene in Pennsylvania recently when Mike Pence decided to stop at a local barbershop for a short back and sides….and bear in mind he was accompanied by a phalanx of journalists and cameras.

Mike Pence is of course Donald Trump's running mate….and in a few hours time he will face off against Hillary Clinton's Vice Presidential pick, Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia.
Both of them competing to fill an office that a previous occupant - John Nance Garner who served as Vice President in the 1930s said "isn't worth a bucket of warm spit"….except he didn't use the word spit.
Neither Governor Pence nor Senator Kaine, it is fair to say, were national celebrities when they were selected a few weeks ago…..but what about now, just hours before their big TV coming-out party?

It all points to perhaps disappointing TV ratings when the networks clear their air-time for tonight's 90 minute encounter.
It's being held in Farmville, Virginia….a place that is almost as unknown to Americans as the two candidates themselves.
Of course this debate matters….both men will want to do a solid job and demonstrate they have the credentials to lead if their boss was ever to become incapacitated.
Mike Pence can at least be secure in the knowledge that back in that Pennsylvania barbershop he won't be quickly forgotten.
