Russians react to sanctions announcements

In Russia, opinions are divided over how much impact new sanctions imposed by the European Union might have.

The EU has agreed new, wider sanctions against Russia over it’s alleged role in supporting militants in eastern Ukraine.

The defence energy and banking sectors are being targeted.
