Questions are being asked about why commercial airliners were still being permitted to fly above eastern Ukraine, a known conflict zone, following the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.
International investigators have arrived at the crash site after rebels in eastern Ukraine allowed them access.
The plane, carrying 298 people, crashed in rebel-held territory on Thursday. Separatist rebels and Ukrainian authorities have both accused each other of shooting down the plane with a missile.
FSN's Natalie Powell spoke to aviation expert Chris Yates of Yates Consulting and started by asking why commercial passenger jets were allowed to fly over Eastern Ukraine.
