In the United States, the authorities in Louisiana are expected to provide more details today into the shooting in Baton Rouge that left 3 police officers dead and another 3 seriously injured.
The shooting took place just 12 days after police killed gunned down Alton Sterling outside a supermarket in the city.
His death has led to days of peaceful protests in Louisiana by supporters of the "Black Lives Matter" movement.
But it's unclear whether Sunday's gunman had a political motive.

The police radios in Baton Rouge crackled into life as the shooting unfolded on Sunday morning.
The audio of the gunfire by a passer by with a cellphone.
Police had been alerted to the presence of a man with an assault rifle, walking down one of the city's main highways.
When they approached, he opened fire.

The gunman who was killed by police has been named as Gavin Long from Kansas City.
A former Marine, the shootings took place on his 29th birthday.
His motivation is uncertain….it's not yet clear whether the attack was in any way tied to the killing by police of Alton Sterling, a black CD trader who was gunned down outside a supermarket earlier this month.
His kiiling has mobilized Black Lives Matter protesters in Baton Rouge.
The latest violence….just ten days after a sniper killed 5 police officers in Dallas….brought President Obama in front of the cameras again.

Donald Trump, preparing for the Republican Convention which gets underway here in Cleveland on Monday, said the President's appearance had shown that - quote - "he doesn't have a clue".
In a week that will give Donald Trump numerous opportunities to speak directly to Americans watching the Convention, he's likely to return to that theme.
Our country, he tweeted, is totally divided…our enemies are watching.
