UK introduces new anti-terror laws

INTRO: The British government is announcing a raft of new anti-terror measures which include a ban on insurance firms paying out ransoms to terrorism groups...

The UK's terror threat level was raised from "substantial" to "severe" earlier this year in direct response to the growing conflicts in Iraq and Syria.

A major initiative is underway in the UK to brief thousands of people working in public organisations about how they can tackle the threat of terrorism on UK soil...
