China and Russia seek energy deals as Moscow-West relationship deteriorates

China and Russia's state gas companies have reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding on a second natural gas deal at the Asia Pacific Economic Forum.


It comes amid Russian attempts to diversify it's energy exports away from the west with relations damaged over the Ukraine conflict.
