Trump team communications ‘incidentally collected’ by US intelligence

A senior US lawmaker has announced that communications from members of
Donald Trump's team were incidentally collected by US intelligence.

After claiming that Trump Tower was wiretapped the president says he
now feels somewhat vindicated by the news despite there still being no
proof that the Obama administration carried out surveillance on Trump
Tower.

This announcement caused an uproar amongst senior Democrats who say
they weren't consulted before this information was made public.
