The High Court in Uganda has sentenced to life five people for terrorism and murder for their role in the July 2010 bombings in the capital Kampala.
76 people died during the attack and many were left injured.
SABC's Michael Baleke reports from Kampala.

A Ugandan high court judge says prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that eight men were involved in the plan to attack Uganda.
The judge sentenced five of the eight men to life imprisonment.
He handed two others also found guilty of terrorism a 50-year jail term.
And one man was convicted of a lesser accessory charge.
The defense attorney Caleb Alaka says the sentence was reasonable.
SOT: Caleb Alaka, Defense Attorney – "In as far as he did not sentence anybody to death, I think in the circumstances of the case it looks fair."
Brenda Nanyonjo, a survivor of a bomb attack says justice has finally prevailed.
SOT: Brenda Nanyonjo, Victim of Attacks – "If the law says… that is what they deserve for what they did to us and other people that lost their lives because those people are not going to come back, then so be it."
Five men also standing trial were acquitted of terror and murder charges, but they remain under police detention.
Uganda Police say it is for their own security.
Terrorism and murder charges according to Uganda laws attract a maximum penalty of death.
But the Justice of the high court, while handing down the sentences, said he did not believe that the death sentence would act as a deterrent.
