NYC Lion dancers seek to bring the tradition to a wider audience

The lion dance dates back to the third century and still plays a big
role in the Lunar New Year celebrations.

It's a tradition typically performed by men but some dance troupes in
New York are encouraging women to play a more active role.

As William Denselow reports, it's part of a larger effort to share
these ancient celebrations with a wider audience.
