Millions of dollars in extra funding to fight Ebola has been pledged at a donor conference in London.
The UK says 'strong partnerships' have also been forged as the international community attempts to co-ordinate a response to the outbreak.

Critics say it's been too long in coming, but perhaps better late, than never - Mobilising the international community to fight Ebola.

""Well we're at a tipping point in the management of this Ebola outbreak, we've got more than 20 countries coming together here and we're hoping that the commitments and the pledges that are made today will allow us to make a step change in our response, get ahead of the curve so that we can contain and then beat this disease."

But as the UK tries to help, claims from a committee of British MPs that it's partly to blame for the crisis.
The Commons international development committee says a recent UK decision to cut aid to Sierra Leone and Liberia has left those two countries less able to battle the spread of Ebola.
Its new report also claims the wider international community took its eye off the ball when it comes to west Africa.
The UK government disputes this but says the Ebola outbreak is an 'unprecedented human tragedy'.

"So the world is beginning to realise that - look - this is something that we need to tackle headlong, it's like being in a war, ok, and you need to aggressively fight the war, to win it. You can't sit with your hands closed and say you want to win a war, you have to mobilise every resource, the foot soldiers, everything has to be done."
