A major athletic training organization in the U.S. has warned about
the risks of children playing too much of a single sport.
According to the National Athletic Trainers' Association intense and
targeted training increases the risk of burnout and major injuries.
But some fear such measures could be a roadblock to those hoping to
use their talents to gain college scholarships or turn professional.
