Fans and businesses set to suffer from US failure to qualify for World Cup

The United States surprised the footballing world by failing to
qualify for next year's World Cup. The first time they've failed to do
so since 1986.

It's a big blow to fans but also for the U.S. team's sponsors hoping
to profit on one of the world's biggest sporting events.

Some fear the team's absence from Russia 2018 could be felt long after
the tournament's final whistle.

William Denselow reports from New York.
