Nov. 11 - Winners and losers of the latest Republican candidates debate

Early reactions to the fourth Republican candidates debate is that Ben Carson and Marco Rubio did well, while Donald Trump struggled.

This debate, broadcast on Fox Business News, was supposed to focus on economic issues, and was different from previous events, as several candidates failed to make the cut.

Donald Trump felt the debate was elegant
but his performance was less so.
the other seven candidates on stage pounced on his proposals for immigration reform, 
to send millions of undocumented workers back to their home countries
And in an attempt to slam the Trans Pacific Partnership
on the issue of China and currency manipulation
Donald trump was found to be lacking the facts.

And Just as Rand Paul corrected the businessman's comprehension of international trade agreements,
Jeb Bush also attacked Donald Trump's knowledge of foreign policy, and specifically Syria.

But the expected Democratic nominee was not forgotten either.
Earlier, in the undercard event, 
Chris Christie hoped to boost his presence by attacking her,
just as Ted Cruz did a few hours later.

But it was Marco Rubio who tried to set a different tone

Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley take the stage in iowa for the next Democratic candidates debate in a few days time.
The Republican candidates get a break until December 15 - with the political pundits wondering if any of the 16 candidates will drop out, due to lack of support.
