Jeb Bush, the former Governor of Florida and brother of George W. Bush will formally enter the race for the American Presidency today.
He joins a crowded Republican field and faces tough opposition in his battle to win the Party's Presidential nomination.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton continues to enjoy barely any viable opponents in her quest to become the Democrats' standard-bearer in 2016.
Are we heading for another Bush-Clinton battle in the race for the White House?

This will be Jeb Bush's day in the very early jostling to win the keys to the Oval Office.
He wants to become America's third President Bush....following in the footsteps of his father and his brother.
But for this Bush....name recognition seems to be a political problem.
Many voters are leery of another Bush at the helm of the Republican Party....despite the former Governor's plea on CNN to be judged as his own man.

It isn't only his name that could stop him from becoming the Republican Presidential candidate....but also the fact that party members are now officially spoiled for choice.
So many candidates have declared their intention to seek the Presidency that behind the scenes there's an enormous race underway to secure the finances necessary to launch a competitive bid.
By contrast, Hillary Clinton may suffer from the opposite problem.
She's got no meaningful opposition in her quest for the Democrats' nomination.
There are two other candidates: Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont whose socialist views don't sit well with many conservative Democrats.....and a former Governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley, whose Presidential hopes appear to rest on something awful happening to Mrs Clinton.
Clinton spokeswoman Karen Finney insists that despite her candidate's wealth and position of privilege in the US elite…she is catching on with middle class voters…or what the Clinton campaign insist on calling "everyday Americans".

The election of course is still an eternity away.
And there is absolutely no guarantee that Mrs. Clinton or Jeb Bush will end up on the ballot in November 2016…or in the frame to succeed Barack Obama.
As for the President….he was sufficiently uninterested in Mrs. Clinton's launch event on Saturday that he didn't watch it on television.
Instead, he headed off to play a round of golf.
